I spoke at the Women Creators × AI Evening in London last night, at Halkin on Paris Garden, hosted by BuildHer Labs and GCreators.
The line I built the talk around was this one:
When everyone can use AI to create content, authority matters.

The evening was streamed on the Ecommerce Camp channel:
What I talked about
Producing content is no longer the hard part. Anyone in that room could generate a month of posts before lunch. So the thing that decides whether any of it lands is not the writing. It is whether the search engine, and increasingly the model, knows who you are.

So I showed them actual Google Knowledge Panels, and the Google for Creators search profile — an official presence you can apply for that surfaces your work when someone searches your name. Most of the room had never heard of it.
None of this is fast. I have been doing it on myself for months: a site, five channels, conference stages, podcasts, and a lot of unglamorous cleanup of the places where the internet has my details wrong. It compounds, or it does nothing.
The room

The event was hosted by BuildHer Labs, a venture studio for women and non-binary founders, alongside GCreators.me, founded by Vita Shafinska. Partners on the night included Fotor, Gamma, HeyGen, Lovable, Canva and RakLaw.
Networking first, then a hands-on content creation workshop, then speaker spotlights. What made it worth the trip to London was that the other speakers were running AI in their own work rather than describing it. One of them walked through scraping everything he had ever written into four files so he never has to re-explain himself to a model again. That is a real workflow, with a real number attached, from someone who actually built it.
Why this matters
I wrote a few weeks ago that most businesses have AI in their tools and none in their decisions. Last night was the other end of that: a room full of people building with it directly, and asking better questions because of it.
