Adding the word digital to your agency, your company, or your domain name does not make you a digital agency. It makes you an agency with a longer name.
I know that is blunt. It needs to be, because the market is full of it.
Stop Making Beautiful Decks
Stop building elaborate design presentations for pitches. Think about what you are actually signalling. If the client wanted a presentation, they would have hired you to do design work.
What they want to know is whether you understand their problem and whether your thinking is any good. A deck hides both of those things behind a layout.
Share Your Screen Instead
Be different. Open their site in front of them and walk them through what you would actually do. Show the strategy, live, with your hands on the thing.
It is more exposing, which is precisely why it works. You cannot fake competence in real time. I have argued the same thing about pitching before: skip the polished audit document and send a Loom, and let a real audit do the selling.
Why This Matters Beyond Pitching
How an agency sells tells you how it will work. An agency that wins on presentation will manage on presentation, and you will get status decks instead of fixed problems.
The name on the door is the cheapest part of positioning. What you do in the first meeting is the real one.
