Two Weeks Into 2026: 10 Big Wins (Why This Year Feels Different)

Table of Contents

We’re only two weeks into 2026, and honestly… it already feels like one of those years.

You know the type — the kind of year where momentum builds fast, opportunities show up in clusters, and you realise very quickly that if you stay focused, you can make huge progress in a short space of time.

Over the last two weeks alone, a lot has happened across MageCloud — from new clients onboarding, to partnerships, to planning the year ahead.

Here are 10 key highlights from the start of 2026 and what they mean moving forward.

1) A New Client Is Officially Onboarded

We kicked off the year with a new client joining us — and the onboarding process is already underway.

Nothing beats starting a new year with fresh energy, new goals, and a new brand we’re excited to scale.

2) We’re Booked for a Furniture Expo Event

We’ve also secured a spot at an upcoming furniture expo — a great chance to meet brands in person, build relationships, and explore new growth opportunities in the furniture + home goods space.

Events like this are always a reminder that real connections still matter, even in a digital-first world.

3) Official Partner: eCommerce Camp UK (Welcome, FERO)

We’re also thrilled to share that MageCloud has joined the eCommerce Camp UK community as an official partner — alongside FERO.

The eCommerce Camp UK community continues to grow into something special, and it’s exciting to be part of a space where founders, operators, and experts share ideas and support each other.

4) Planning 2026 With ProfitMetrics, Mollie & WP Engine

This month has already included calls with ProfitMetrics, Mollie, and WP Engine — reviewing accounts, performance, and defining the 2026 plan properly.

This is the kind of behind-the-scenes work that isn’t flashy, but it’s what creates real traction:

  • smarter spend
  • better margins
  • stronger infrastructure
  • and fewer surprises later in the year

5) Meeting With Loxa + Preparing for the Next Investment Round

We’ve also had meetings with Loxa about the next investment round — and I’m currently speaking with Jamie Hamer about getting a pitch deck ready.

It’s early days, but it’s exciting — and it’s one more signal that the year ahead is going to be full of big moves.

6) A New Project Manager Has Joined the Team

Another major step: we’ve brought in a new project manager.

Anyone scaling an agency knows the truth — growth isn’t just about more clients.
It’s about better systems, clearer communication, and stronger delivery.

This hire is a huge win for our operations going into 2026.

7) Seven Client Visits in Two Weeks

Yes, seven client visits in the first two weeks of the year.

That’s busy — but it’s also a great sign.

When clients want to meet, review progress, and plan forward, it means things are moving in the right direction and relationships are strong.

8) A Few Big Meetings Around AI in Ecommerce

AI in ecommerce is evolving fast — and we’ve already been in several discussions exploring what’s next.

I can’t share too much detail yet, but let’s just say the way ecommerce teams operate this year is going to look very different.

And MageCloud is leaning into it.

9) End-of-Year Accounting: Done

Not glamorous, but necessary:

end-of-year accounting is completed.

It’s always a relief to start the year clean, organised, and with clarity going forward.

10) Getting the MageCloud Website Moving Again

Finally — I’m collaborating with Dennis Yu to get my own site moving again.

It’s something I’ve wanted to prioritise for a while, and 2026 feels like the right time to do it properly.

The Big Lesson So Far: This Year Is About Execution

The first two weeks of 2026 have been a reminder of something simple:

  • Opportunities come when you’re consistent
  • Growth comes when your plan is clear
  • Results come when you stay focused point-by-point

This year has the potential to be huge.

But only if we execute.

So the plan is simple:

  • stay focused
  • move fast
  • build properly
  • and ask for support when needed

If you’re building something this year too — let’s make it a big one.

And if you’re looking to connect with other ecommerce founders and operators, feel free to join the eCommerce Camp UK community.

2026 is just getting started.
