Agent 09 · Always · The Compounding Loop

The Work Documentation Agent

Agencies do impressive work and let the evidence evaporate — the how lives in one specialist’s head and the next project starts from zero. This agent closes the loop: every milestone produces an improved SOP, a case-study candidate, and optionally a public write-up of how the work was actually done.

What it takes off your team’s plate

Why undocumented wins are expensive:

Repeated discoveryThe same problem solved from scratch because last quarter’s solution was never written down.
Thin sales libraryReal results that never became case studies because nobody had the assembly hours.
Invisible processProspects who cannot tell your work from the agency that agrees to everything — because neither shows its machinery.
Hourly-billing gravityWithout documented outcomes, pricing on results has nothing to stand on.

How a run works

Three outputs from every milestone:

  1. The SOP delta. What was actually done versus what the skill said to do — divergences drafted as edits for the process owner. What percentage came from the playbook versus improvisation? If the gap is big, the playbook is thin.
  2. The case-study candidate. Client context, the problem in the client’s words, what was done, results with real numbers, and one honest ‘what we would do differently’ — flagged CONSENT REQUIRED until written client approval exists.
  3. The public meta-article. The process story: steps, judgment calls, effort versus traditional hours, and what the agent could NOT do. Transparency this rare earns links and trust — I document my agency openly on LinkedIn for exactly this reason, and it out-pulls Google for client acquisition.
  4. Route, never publish. Every output goes to a named owner. Nothing client-identifying ships without consent on file.

✋ The approval gate

Documentation ethics:

  • Real numbers or no numbers — ‘significant uplift’ is worse than nothing
  • Failure modes and human interventions included; omitting them reads as marketing
  • Client-identifying details require written consent, tracked
  • First person on a founder’s site, third person on the agency site

What you get

SOP-DELTA — playbook edits for the process owner
CASE-STUDY-DRAFT — consent-flagged, numbers verified
META-ARTICLE-DRAFT — titled, meta-described, internally linked
A compounding library: sharper SOPs, thicker sales proof, warmer leads

The page you are reading — and this whole microsite — is this agent’s philosophy applied to itself. Built in partnership with Dennis Yu, whose team runs the recursive loop publicly: SOPs published, executions documented, documentation improving the SOPs. Ecommerce Camp, my community, exists on the same belief: practitioners sharing how the work actually gets done.

I have written about this from the trenches:

Run it yourself, or bring my team in
