Feed work is the most deterministic, most neglected job in e-commerce marketing — which makes it perfect agent work. How a run works

Six passes over the catalog:

  1. Disapprovals and warnings. Data fixes drafted by the agent; policy issues escalated to a human the hour they appear — account suspensions are existential, not weekly-report material.
  2. Price and availability integrity. Top-100 revenue items crawled against the live site; mismatch root-cause traced to fetch schedules versus repricing frequency.
  3. Title quality. Top-200 SKUs scored against the pattern, highest-intent tokens in the first 70 characters, rewrites delivered before/after for approval.
  4. Identifiers and taxonomy. GTIN coverage, honest identifier_exists usage, category specificity, product_type populated.
  5. Custom labels. A labeling scheme proposed from the store’s own data — the key that unlocks margin-based campaign structure.
  6. Images. Overlay, background, and resolution flags routed to whoever owns product photography.

Feed safety rules:

  • All fixes ship as a supplemental feed for approval — the primary feed source is never touched
  • No invented product data, ever; rearrangement and surfacing only
  • Policy disapprovals escalate immediately and are never self-remediated
  • Weekly cadence in Q4 and promo periods, monthly otherwise
